Walter stole thousands, did not do the work, lied about being licensed/bonded, and left countless mistakes. Do not hire him for construction projects.
Walter Leandro is not a licensed contractor, does not keep records of what he has/has not done, will take your money, and will not give it back if he does not complete the job
Do NOT hire this man for construction work! This webpage is for Walter Leandro who says that he is licensed under American Demolition and Grading Inc. He is NOT licensed or bonded. If you look up the name on the California Contractor's Board, you will see that this contractor is another person. He even stole another contractor's license! I am struggling to get my money back and wanted other people to be warned. He comes off as very nice and as if you can trust him, but that is not the case. If he says he can work under that conrtactor's license, it's a lie. I filed against him with the board and they said that a contractor has to be licensed under their own number.

Walter took my money, did not complete the job, has not refunded the money given to him to start a project (never started), and I am now holding the bag and paying other people to fix the mistakes made. I also recently found out he never paid the architect he recommended to me even though I paid him $3000 for the plans. I am trying to get my money back, but I wanted to warn others of this contractor since I did not see anything online before I hired him. He also owes me money for work he never completed on a patio. He has been telling me he will give me my money back "next week" for the last 10 months. I am still waiting. He has had "emergency" after "emergency" and then does not pay me back. He has been telling me his accountant has had issue after issue and that is also why he cannot itemize anything he did. I trusted him because I was told he did work on a house I purchased and I thought it would be good to continue working with him. I learned an expensive lesson.

Check out just some examples of Walter's work!
.
Tub started peeling within a month of it being done. I had to pay someone else to fix it who said it was just painted, not primed or prepped (as needed).
Wiring was found to have issues I had to pay to fix. Nothing was ever completed fully.
.
Walter, if you are reading this, I want my money back INCLUDING the money I paid you for the patio cover you did not replace anything for. That is the $4200 I paid for the patio fixes plus the remaining $2400 for the deposit towards the bathroom. $6600 in my account is a minimum of what I need.

If he had a business quote, it would be "good enough to get you to keep giving me money, but not to properly finish a job"
